Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage daily operations on the construction site and ensure all workers are adhering to safety protocols.
• Track and report project milestones and deliverables to senior management.
• Engage with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Supervise quality control and conduct walkthroughs upon project completion.
• Mentor junior staff and provide professional development opportunities.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
