Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend policies for land use and sustainable development.
• Facilitate negotiations between residents and developers.
• Conduct site visits to assess urban development impacts.
• Develop strategies for public spaces improvement and conservation.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists on conservation efforts.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals for urban development funding.
• Provide technical assistance to local governments regarding land use planning.
• Engage in continuous learning of urban planning laws and regulations.
• Create visual aids and presentations for community engagement.
• Support the development of urban planning training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
• Professional certification in urban planning preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in urban design or planning
