Job Description

We are in search of a passionate pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and dispensing medications to our valued customers. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Verify, dispense and counsel patients on prescribed medications.
• Educate patients on dietary supplements and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor drug interactions and address potential issues.
• Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Assist in quality assurance and improvement processes.
• Engage with suppliers regarding pharmaceutical products.
• Support health promotion activities in the community.
• Contribute to training and development of pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in retail pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Drug Interaction Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
