Job Description

The Hoisting Engineer will oversee the safe and efficient operation of hoisting equipment on construction sites. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations and guaranteeing that all machinery is maintained properly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of hoisting machinery to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop lifting plans and procedures to optimize workflow.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of all hoisting equipment.
• Train new team members on hoisting operations and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers to align operations with project timelines.
• Provide technical support on hoisting-related matters.
• Monitor site conditions and make recommendations for improvement.
• Document and report equipment performance and operational issues.
• Lead safety briefings before operations commence.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant engineering qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in hoisting operations.

Technical Skills

• Crane Operation
• Risk Assessment

Certifications

• Advanced Hoisting Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of various hoisting equipment types: Experience with different hoisting machinery including mobile cranes and tower cranes.
• Leadership experience: Experience mentoring and developing junior staff on job sites.
