Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead our initiatives in Cape Town. You will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring that projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Establish project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Direct and manage project development from inception to completion.
• Prepare and deliver regular project updates to senior management.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective team meetings to encourage collaboration.
• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and objectives.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, adjusting as necessary.
• Leverage analytics to improve project outcomes and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior project staff.
• Ensure successful project handover and post-implementation reviews.
• Manage client expectations and resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Business Administration or Project Management
• PMP certification strongly preferred

Experience

• 6 years of experience in project management roles

Technical Skills

• Agile Methodologies
• Risk Management Tools

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership training or coaching experience: Experience in mentoring or training project teams.
• Certification in Lean Management: Solid understanding of Lean principles and practices.
