Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations and will assist clients in understanding their tax obligations while maximizing their financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and liabilities.
• Compile and file tax returns accurately and punctually.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
• Conduct tax planning and research to identify strategies for clients.
• Engage with clients during tax audits, providing necessary support.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing support.
• Keep abreast of changes in tax regulations and convey these to clients.
• Support the training and development of junior staff in tax matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting

Languages

• English: Fluent
