Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team in Durban. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, interact with patients, and contribute to their overall well-being and recovery. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient care needs and respond accordingly.
  • Document patients' progress and any changes in condition.
  • Work with healthcare providers to create a collaborative care environment.
  • Engage with patients to promote health and prevent illness.
  • Deliver exceptional bedside care to enhance patient experience.
  • Contribute to research initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.
  • Support new staff members and nursing students.
  • Involve in community health outreach programs.
  • Attend training on new healthcare technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse qualification and a valid South African Nursing Council license
  • Bachelors in Nursing is a significant advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant nursing experience strongly preferred
