Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and coordinate care delivery.
• Administer IV therapies and manage medical equipment.
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and families.
• Document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Engage in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing or related field
• Specialization in critical care or pediatrics is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Certification in palliative care: Expertise in providing end-of-life care and support.
