Job Description

As a General Practitioner in our Durban practice, you will provide a wide range of medical services to patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing ongoing patient care. We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Build rapport and trust with patients to facilitate open communication.
• Advocate for patients' health and wellness.
• Actively contribute to team discussions and case management.
• Train and supervise junior medical staff and interns.
• Engage in community health promotion activities.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialisation in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience working in general practice or family medicine

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Proficient
