Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter at Insurance Leaders Co., you will play a vital role in the underwriting process, assessing risk and making critical decisions regarding insurance applications. This role demands a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and agents alike.

Responsibilities

  • Review insurance applications and assess applicants' backgrounds.
  • Carry out risk assessments and recommend coverage limits.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance products with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of underwriting decisions.
  • Coordinate with claims and risk management teams to address issues.
  • Analyze industry trends to improve underwriting practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Professional designation (e.g., AINS, CPCU) preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in underwriting or insurance-related field
