Job Description

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill prescriptions and ensure medication safety.
• Guide patients on correct usage of medications, including potential side effects.
• Engage with doctors and other healthcare providers to discuss patient medication plans.
• Provide ongoing support for chronic disease management.
• Ensure effective communication and support for patient inquiries.
• Participate in health campaigns and community wellness programs.
• Review and manage stock levels of medications and supplies.
• Implement pharmacy policies and maintain operational standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician Certification

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
