Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Operations Supervisor to lead our operational team in Durban. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Lead efforts to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Support the team in achieving sales and service targets.
  • Develop client service strategies to enhance client experience.
  • Prepare operational reports and present to senior management.
  • Mentor and train staff on best practices in operations.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to ensure consistency.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations impacting insurance operations.
  • Recognize and implement best practices in operational management.
  • Engage in performance reviews and team development initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Insurance
  • Master's degree or relevant qualifications are preferred

  • 5+ years in a supervisory role within insurance operations
