We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our innovative team in Makhanda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments, analysing data, and developing new research methodologies. Responsibilities

• Design and execute research experiments in alignment with project goals.
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project effectiveness.
• Write research proposals and grant applications.
• Maintain detailed records of research processes and outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance to other team members.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and operational.
• Assist in the training of new staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific field
• PhD is preferable

Experience

• 3-5 years of research experience in a laboratory setting
