Job Description

As a Compliance Officer in Pretoria, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our HR practices align with local laws and regulations. You'll be responsible for conducting audits, developing compliance documentation, and collaborating with HR and legal teams to mitigate risks. Your expertise will be key in fostering a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics.
  • Manage compliance documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Work with external auditors during compliance audits.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
  • Advise on best practices in HR compliance and risk management.
  • Support the management team in decision-making processes related to compliance.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives as part of compliance efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance within an HR environment
