Responsibilities

• Analyze tax-related data and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Work closely with clients to gather relevant financial information.
• Prepare tax planning strategies tailored to individual circumstances.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and reviews.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and report to management.
• Assist in training junior team members on tax-related issues.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss tax strategies and compliance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving tax function efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax-related roles

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner
• CA(SA) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling: Ability to create financial models for tax scenarios.
