Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Feeder Offbearer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing finished lumber from planing machines, skillfully stacking it for further processing or shipment, and ensuring that quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the planing machine to maintain optimal performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and quality standards in the manufacturing process.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Stack and arrange finished products for delivery and further processing.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and objectives.

Requirements

Education

• No formal education required, but a good understanding of machine operation is essential.

Experience

• Previous experience as a machine feeder or offbearer is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
