Job Description

As a Yard Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our yard, ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently. You will manage a team of yard staff, coordinate logistics, and maintain operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee yard operations to maximize efficiency.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Train and mentor yard personnel on best practices.
• Schedule and manage maintenance of yard equipment.
• Document and report on operational metrics.
• Coordinate with team leaders across different departments.
• Ensure quality service delivery to our clients.
• Develop strategies to improve operation standards.
• Drive initiatives for cost-effective operations.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent
• Bachelors in Business Administration is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years in a supervisory role in logistics or related fields.

• Forklift Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Team Management Experience: Experience managing teams of 10+ staff is preferred.
