Job Description

The Directory Advertising Sales Representative will play a key role in driving sales by selling advertising space in directories to various businesses and organizations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work independently while seeking new clients through cold-calling and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients to build rapport and understand their needs.
  • Develop sales strategies to effectively drive advertising sales.
  • Provide insights and feedback on customer desires and market trends.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our products and services.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies.
  • Create and maintain a sales portfolio to showcase advertising options.
  • Regularly review sales expenditures and achieve a balanced budget.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients between sales cycles.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing to develop sales support materials.
  • Report on sales performance to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in territory sales
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Online Advertising Platforms
Soft Skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Problem-Solving
Languages
  • English: Fluent
