Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Dentist to join our Pretoria practice. In this role, you will assess patients' dental conditions, carry out treatments, and provide ongoing care, maintaining high standards of service and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums and interpret X-rays.
• Provide preventative care and education to patients, emphasizing the importance of regular dental check-ups.
• Manage patient discomfort and anxiety through effective communication and care.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Science or equivalent
• Specialization in a dental field (e.g., orthodontics, periodontics) is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Expertise in cosmetic dentistry
• Knowledge of dental radiography

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Dentistry Certification - if preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
