Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice. In this role, you will diagnose and treat various medical conditions, perform surgical procedures, and educate pet owners about best health practices. Responsibilities

• Evaluate health issues and offer appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests.
• Manage medication administration and post-operative care.
• Guide and educate pet owners on behaviour and husbandry practices.
• Interact with local animal shelters for community outreach.
• Research and implement new veterinary technologies.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration within the clinic.
• Establish relationships with suppliers for quality resources.
• Participate in case discussions and collaborative care.
• Document and report any adverse reactions or complications.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
• Specialization in Surgery or Internal Medicine is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years experience in a clinical veterinary setting
