Job Description

Are you meticulous and analytical? We're looking for an Auditor in Pietermaritzburg to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting for our diverse client base. You will work collaboratively with management to enhance financial oversight, develop recommendations, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and determine areas where processes can be improved.
• Prepare and present audit findings to the management team.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements throughout all auditing processes.
• Assist in training junior accountants and interns on auditing practices.
• Conduct follow-up audits to assess previous recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in auditing, ideally within a firm

Technical Skills

• Excel Proficiency
• GAAP Knowledge

• Critical Thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent
