Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
• Engage in play activities to promote physical development.
• Record observations of children's behavior and health.
• Develop and adapt activities based on children's interests.
• Work collaboratively with educators to enhance the childcare program.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Degree in Early Childhood Education is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in childcare

Technical Skills

• Behaviour Management Techniques
• Activity Planning

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Child Development Associate Credential

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Prior training in Creative Arts: Experience in using arts to facilitate children's learning and development.
• Knowledge of early childhood nutrition: Understanding nutrition's role in child development and well-being.
