Gas Leak Inspector Helper

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Gas Leak Inspector Helpers to assist in identifying and repairing gas leaks. You will work closely with our experienced Gas Leak Inspectors, providing essential support in maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and monitoring of gas pipelines.
• Locate and identify gas leaks using portable detectors.
• Complete maintenance checks and repairs on equipment.
• Report findings directly to the Gas Leak Inspector.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the Gas Detection team.
• Assist in training new team members on safety practices.
• Help maintain equipment and workshop cleanliness.
• Participate in safety trainings and workshops.
• Support the implementation of environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Gas Leak Detection Certification is an advantage

Experience

• Relevant experience in gas leak detection or a similar environment preferred
