Civil Engineer

Job Description

Join our Cape Town office as a Civil Engineer, where your expertise will contribute to significant infrastructure projects. You will be involved in all phases of development, from initial design through to implementation and final inspection, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports.
• Review engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Oversee construction sites and coordinate with contractors.
• Ensure quality control measures are adhered to during site execution.
• Utilize CAD software for design modeling.
• Communicate effectively with clients on project status and concerns.
• Foster relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registration with ECSA will be considered a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering roles.
