Job Description

We are looking for an Emergency Care Nurse with a passion for patient care to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and managing patients in high-stress environments, ensuring top-notch care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and document changes in patient conditions.
  • Deliver emergency treatments and stabilize patients in critical conditions.
  • Engage in team collaboration to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Educate patients on discharge processes and follow-up care requirements.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment for patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to keep abreast of best practices.
  • Lead patient care discussions with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in emergency or critical care nursing
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Trauma Nursing
