IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting users with technical issues, implementing IT strategies, and maintaining network systems to keep our operations smooth.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for technical support queries.
• Conduct troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and software.
• Keep the IT support documentation up to date.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Ensure equipment is secure and well-maintained.
• Support software updates and installations as needed.
• Provide user support and training on software applications.
• Report recurring issues and propose solutions to improve IT services.
• Foster good relationships with clients by providing excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
