Join our Cape Town office as a Cybersecurity Analyst! In this role, you will monitor and protect our systems against cybersecurity threats, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures. An ideal candidate will have a keen interest in cybersecurity and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network activities for security threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents.
• Implement and maintain security measures and protocols.
• Generate reports on security incidents and exposures.
• Develop and document security best practices and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT staff to improve security awareness and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity
• Relevant Certifications (CISSP, CEH) preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
