Job Description

As an Actuary in Cape Town, you will leverage your analytical skills to manage and assess risks involving finance and insurance. Your contributions will enhance our understanding and management of financial uncertainty, making you an integral part of our decision-making team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical analysis software to assess data and generate reports.
• Formulate recommendations based on financial modeling and risk analysis.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Review and enhance existing actuarial methodologies for efficiency.
• Prepare documentation to support internal audits related to actuarial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Actuarial Science is an advantage

Experience

• 6+ years of progressive actuarial experience within a financial institution
