Job Description

As a Psychologist with the Mental Wellness Group, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality mental health services. Your work will involve diagnosing psychological conditions and developing personalized treatment options to support our clients' needs in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological tests and assessments.
• Identify and address potential barriers to therapy.
• Practice culturally competent therapy tailored to diverse populations.
• Promote mental health awareness within the community.
• Support peer supervision and training for new staff.
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is preferred

Experience

• Experience working in hospitals or wellness centres is advantageous

Certifications

• Certificate in Mental Health First Aid

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
