Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chin Strap Cutter responsible for cutting chin straps for safety helmets to meet rigorous safety standards. This role involves operating specialized cutting machinery and collaborating with a dedicated production team to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine cutting specifications.
• Operate cutting machines or hand tools to meet production goals.
• Perform quality checks on cut products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Remedy any quality issues promptly by reworking or discarding defective straps.
• Keep a neat and organized workspace to maintain safety.
• Assist in inventory management of materials needed for production.
• Participate in regular safety audits and training programs.
• Monitor supply levels and notify management when materials are running low.
• Work closely with the Quality Control team to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
