Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in Johannesburg, you will work on exciting projects in mechanical design, development, and testing. Your contributions will drive improvements in product performance and reliability while collaborating with various departments to enhance our engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review meetings and present project findings.
• Utilize project management software to track project milestones.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations to support designs.
• Conduct product testing and evaluate results to enhance performance.
• Create technical specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
• Research emerging technologies and methods applicable to our projects.
• Collaborate with clients to define project scope and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Document all project phases and revisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in the engineering field with a focus on mechanical systems

Technical Skills

• CAD Software (AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Mechanical Systems Analysis

Certifications

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
