Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our skilled healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will excel in providing high-quality patient care and be well-versed in nursing protocols. Your role will be crucial in ensuring patient comfort and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care efficiently, ensuring patient comfort.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
  • Regularly assess patient health and report any changes.
  • Conduct wound care and assist with rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Work with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Document patient progress and care plans accurately.
  • Support case managers in coordinating patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science
  • Postgraduate qualification in a nursing specialty is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a nursing role
