We are on the hunt for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. You will be pivotal in planning, executing, and supervising engineering projects while ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations. A solid foundation in project management and an eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure all designs meet client specifications and industry regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations as needed.
• Coordinate with local government and regulatory agencies for project approval.
• Evaluate project performance and implement improvements when necessary.
• Provide technical expertise and resolve design conflicts.
• Support sustainable engineering practices and promote eco-friendly solutions.
• Lead project teams with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.
• Manage contractor performance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new engineering technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering project management
