UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves creating user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction through design solutions tailored to meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows as well as a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead user experience design activities and initiatives.
• Translate user needs and business goals into design solutions.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops.
• Monitor design trends and incorporate them into current projects.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design accuracy during production.
• Mentor junior designers and promote best practices.
• Create comprehensive user interface specifications.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on design vision.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX design with a solid portfolio

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Front-end Development: Basic coding skills in JavaScript will be beneficial.
