As an Environmental Consultant in Johannesburg, you will play a crucial role in helping businesses navigate environmental regulations. Your insights will guide clients towards sustainable practices while ensuring compliance with legislation, contributing positively to our environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse environmental risks associated with projects.
• Create site-specific environmental management plans.
• Support clients in developing their sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct field investigations and sampling as needed.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and facilitate compliance inspections.
• Prepare detailed environmental reports for regulatory submissions.
• Train client staff on compliance and sustainable practices.
• Research emerging environmental issues and trends.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions regarding environmental concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting
