Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of chemical processes and engineering principles. You'll be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing new chemical technologies to enhance our production capabilities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions while continuously improving our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate environmental risks and propose solutions.
  • Develop research protocols for environmental studies.
  • Lead environmental training workshops for employees.
  • Conduct community outreach and education regarding environmental issues.
  • Facilitate project reviews to ensure sustainable outcomes.
  • Review and critique reports from junior engineers and assistants.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering
