Job Description

As an Inventory Planning Lead in our Pretoria office, you will be pivotal in developing inventory strategies that align with business objectives while minimizing costs. Your analytical skills will contribute to improving our stock turnover and reducing waste.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the inventory forecasting process to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Work closely with finance to establish inventory budgets and manage cash flow.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on inventory management practices.
  • Collaborate with logistics to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Identify slow-moving items and develop strategies to mitigate excess stock.
  • Optimize stock holding to ensure product availability without overstocking.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication for effective inventory turnover.
  • Monitor industry trends to adjust inventory strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Certification in Inventory Management or Logistics preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in retail inventory management
