We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our Cape Town office. This role involves the design and implementation of sustainable engineering solutions aimed at mitigating environmental impacts. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of environmental regulations, strong analytical skills, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design environmental solutions that comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure environmental sustainability in projects.
• Conduct site assessments and environmental audits.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Assist in developing sustainable practices for clients.
• Lead workshops and presentations on environmental issues.
• Monitor project progress and environmental compliance.
• Research and implement best practices in environmental engineering.
• Participate in public meetings and consultations.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental data and correspondence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or engineering

• Afrikaans: Conversational
