Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, DevOps methodologies, and system architecture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions to meet the needs of our clients and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate on development of CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with industry standards and company policies.
• Continuously monitor cloud services for performance and cost optimization.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures and systems.
• Work closely with IT support to troubleshoot and resolve any cloud-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions and architecture

Technical Skills

• Azure
• Infrastructure as Code

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Strategic Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Ability to automate tasks with scripting languages like Python, Bash or similar.
