Command and Control Center Officer

Job Description

As a Command and Control Center Officer, you will operate and maintain advanced radar systems, monitor radar data to identify potential threats, and provide early warnings to relevant authorities. This role requires strong technical skills and a commitment to security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions for new staff on radar system operations.
• Implement enhancements to radar monitoring capabilities.
• Maintain documentation of radar system configurations.
• Engage in data analysis for reporting trends and threats.
• Report and escalate significant incidents to management promptly.
• Contribute to the development of risk assessment reports.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in a related field (e.g. electronics, computer science, physics)

Experience

• Experience in a similar role in a defence or military industry is advantageous.
