Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical and problem-solving skills to improve production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time-motion studies to optimize production time.
• Spearhead automation initiatives within the manufacturing processes.
• Generate and analyze reports pertaining to key performance indicators.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Support the implementation of new software tools for project management.
• Act as a liaison between the production team and management.
• Research and apply best practices in operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment
