Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Sewing Machine Operator. You will play a vital role in the finishing process of garments by operating various sewing equipment, inspecting finished products and collaborating closely with your team.

Responsibilities

• Operate various sewing machines to produce high-quality garments.
• Conduct final checks on finished products for defects.
• Work in accordance with production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Assist in training sessions for new operators.
• Support the Production Manager in maintaining efficiency.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Preferred experience in a textile manufacturing environment.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various sewing machines: Hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines will be considered a plus.
