We are in search of a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ data and IT assets by assessing security measures, implementing robust solutions, and providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop incident response plans and lead investigations into breaches.
• Implement and oversee security training programs for client employees.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
• Create security awareness campaigns and educational materials for clients.
• Review and analyze logs to identify anomalies and security incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years in information security or related roles

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Malware Analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with cybersecurity tools such as Firewalls, SIEM, and IDS.: Hands-on experience with industry-standard security tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages related to security.: Familiarity with languages like Python or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
