DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play an essential role in automating and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for application deployment.
• Execute continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and security standards.
• Investigate and resolve system performance issues.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for better efficiency and speed.
• Train team members on best practices for DevOps.
• Develop disaster recovery solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotational duties for system support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
