UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking an innovative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves enhancing user satisfaction through improving the usability and accessibility of our digital products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the best design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and prototypes based on user feedback and market research.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design integrity during implementation.
• Optimize designs for mobile and web environments.
• Mentor junior designers and share best practices.
• Communicate design ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with creative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• User Research
• Usability Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodology: Exposure to Agile principles and practices in design projects.
• Knowledge of design systems: Experience in creating or working with design systems.
