Job Description

As a Transportation Vehicle Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational safety and efficiency of transit vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting detailed inspections, performing maintenance checks, and coordinating with maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and record the condition of each transit vehicle.
• Work with diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts ordering.
• Provide feedback on vehicle design for safety enhancements.
• Initiate corrective actions for identified issues.
• Foster communication with the operations team for smooth workflow.
• Assist in emergency maintenance when required.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with transit vehicles is preferred
