Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of patient care, an ability to work under pressure, and exceptional communication skills. You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients, monitoring their health status, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care according to best practices.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions regularly.
• Engage with patients in a manner that fosters trust and comfort.
• Arrange and conduct follow-up appointments for patient care.
• Provide guidance to junior nursing staff and support their development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Facilitate communication between patients and their families regarding care plans.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing with additional certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a hospital or healthcare setting

Advantageous

• Previous leadership experience: Experience leading a team of healthcare professionals is preferred.
