We are in search of a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of animal health issues while providing excellent customer service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead veterinary surgical operations and emergency procedures.
• Develop and implement patient care protocols.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior veterinarians.
• Facilitate client education regarding preventive healthcare.
• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with pet owners for optimal treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Handle laboratory samples and diagnostic testing.
• Stay updated on veterinary innovations and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional qualifications in surgery preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a veterinary clinic environment
