We are looking for a proactive Health and Safety Officer to oversee our health and safety policies and procedures. You will play a crucial role in managing risks and ensuring compliance with all local safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Lead safety audits, providing actionable feedback to management.
Create and update safety manuals and training materials.
Track compliance with local health regulations and make necessary adjustments.
Provide technical support during safety inspections and assessments.
Promote safety initiatives through regular communication and staff engagement.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Additional safety certifications are a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in law enforcement or public safety
