Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Conservation Scientist to develop and implement conservation strategies that protect our unique ecosystems. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field research to gather data essential for conservation planning.
  • Utilize GIS and other analytical tools in the assessment of ecosystems.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for local communities on conservation practices.
  • Work on interdisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative conservation solutions.
  • Maintain partnerships with academic institutions for research collaboration.
  • Lead initiatives to restore habitats and promote sustainable land use.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Conservation Biology, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in conservation initiatives
